The source of our velvety water is located in the green lush hills of Tuscany, more specifically in the Mugello region. 
Acqua Panna has been treasured in the Panna’s estate since ever: we do everything to protect the source and its natural ecosystem that is why in the 1300 hectares surrounding the source are vigilantly surveyed to maintain the equilibrium of the habitat.
The source of Acqua Panna is an underground one and is the fruit of nature, gently flowing through the beautiful and sun-drenched hills of Tuscany.
Each drop is naturally filtered by earth, perfected by time on its 14 years journey to the spring for a special mineral balance like no other.
 From the spring, we bottle our treasure that you can savour all over the world.  
The surrounding small towns can be visited; however, the bottling plant and the underground source, which are located inside the Panna’s estate, are not open to the public.

Acqua Panna® is a fine quality still natural mineral water. Its source is located in Italy and more precisely, it is bottled in Tuscany.
Its source is located in the Mugello area, at a height of around 800 m. The height and the composition of the ground gives a unique mineral balance to the water. The result is a water with an unmistakable, superior taste recognized by international chefs and sommeliers all over the world.

The year 1564 is representative of the heritage of Acqua Panna. The famous De Medici Florentine family acquired and outlined the Panna estate area with an official law, in the year 1564. Originally, it served as a hunting reserve, but soon in its vast territory, they discovered a special treasure from nature - the spring of Acqua Panna. It was highly coveted back then and has continued to be protected along time, with its habitat preserved in order to spread the unmistakable tasting water on earth until today.

Acqua Panna water was founded at the Panna estate in Tuscany, dating back to the Renaissance period. The year 1564 is representative of the heritage of Acqua Panna, when the famous De Medici Florentine family acquired and outlined the Panna estate area with an official law. This prominent Tuscan family, patron of arts and culture, used to spend their holidays at Panna estate in the beautiful Tuscan land, enjoying local specialties and drinking water from the same source where we find Acqua Panna today.

Acqua Panna is a natural mineral water,  that flows from protected springs in Italy and more precisely, it is bottled in Tuscany.
Its source is located in the Mugello area, at a height of 1000 m circa. There it goes on a 14 year long natural journey underground, enriching itself with mineral salts that make up it's unmistakable taste. The water combines a perfectly balanced light mineralisation to provide a lively, thirst-quenching experience. By legislation, it is then bottled at the source in Italy without any treatment to preserve its natural purity, and several and constant controls take place during this step, to guarantee the maintenance of the qualitative aspects of Acqua Panna water. The purity is guaranteed, both by the absence of operations capable of modifying the original character, and by the use of suitable materials (stainless steel) and technologies that allow the operations to be carried out without any direct intervention.
